I’ve loved cafés since before I was born. My mom said she drank coffee a lot when she was pregnant with me. So I think that is the one of the reason that I like the coffee and cafés. It is really a funny story. I really like to study, drink hot coffee and chat with my friends there. I will share some episodes about the cafés.
When I was in Korea, I always went to the café after school or when we have some free time. Nearby the school, there were some pretty cafés. I really like one of the cafés in particular. That café’s owner noticed me because I often went there. So the owner gave me coffee for free sometimes.
When I chat with my friends on online now, I always ask them if that café is still there because I want to go there when I go back to Korea. I really like the comfortable mood of cafés. I like to go and drink hot coffee or chat with my friends.
My parents know that I really like cafés. They said “you are the first middle school student to like coffee and cafés so much” I thought that was really funny.
Often when I went downtown with my friends to play, we would to watch the movie, sing karaoke, go shopping and then after all of that we would go to café to take a rest.
In Missouri there was a café nearby Rock Bridge High School so when I needed to wait for my sister to pick me up, I always waited in that café and drank coffee to take a rest. But it closed after the winter break. So I was really sad that I couldn’t wait in that café with hot drink and take a rest. I was so surprised that it was closing.
As you can see, I really like cafés. I like café’s mood and that they give me a really comfortable feeling where I feel so free. Also I really like the coffee and coffee’s smell. Whether In Korea or the United States the place I love is the café.
