Lit Set Analysis Final Project

You should finish your lit set book in the next couple of weeks. (Exceptions: if you recently, joined our class recently or are reading The Help, you can complete this project on the first ½ of your book.) This project is in lieu of a third quiz and must include all of the components listed below A-E.

A. Compelling claim about the author’s purpose/argument.  Use your guidelines for thesis statement writing from your studies class. (5 pts):

Additional Notes:
·         You can get full credit for this project for complete bulleted responses to all of the above.
·         However, 5 pts extra credit is available for students who write this project into a thoughtful, cohesive essay.
·         Mrs. Weaver is happy to answer any questions or give you feedback on drafts of your project if you get them to her in advance of the due date.
