Thanksgiving Food Celebration

We spent a delicious afternoon today celebrating Thanksgiving potluck style in class. We had soul food mac and cheese and greens, three kinds of pie, banana bread, Korean beef, barbecue muffins, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, chili and cornbread, and plates of cookies. It was a little ridiculous. After lunch we sat around playing Taboo and Apples to Apples. Everyone was laughing and very full. There are few more powerful community builders than breaking bread together. I am definitely thankful for the great students I get to work with.
