My grandpa and I were forever cooking buddies. I would taste the meals or snacks that he made to make sure it was appealing to my younger taste buds and he would taste my meals or snacks I made to make sure it appealed to his older taste buds. Of course I always told him that his food needed more sugar and he told me that I needed far less sugar.
My grandpa’s blueberry cobbler is a legend in my family. We would always have it at Christmas, Easter, and of course Thanksgiving. When he made the cobbler he would make it in huge batches to make sure everyone in the family could have seconds or even thirds, like my brother. When my grandpa passed away everyone was extremely sad. Now I make the blueberry cobbler but it does not in any way taste as good.
