What makes me safe?
Being held in your strong arms
You are protecting me, being my comfortable spot.
The words you speak to me.
The strength in your voice that I hear while you hold me.
Makes me very happy, joyful, and calm.
Please hug me, bring me warmth, take my hand and hold it tight.
For you are always there to help me up when I fall down.
Wiping tears from my face as I cry.
Being strong not only for me but for the both of us.
Knowing I have a place in your heart to call home.
Being safe…
To never hide your emotions from me.
Showing pride.
Feeling secure is the best way to hold us tightly together.
Never being afraid to fail.
Showing concern for your well-being.
No one ever wants to be hurt.
so the best thing to do is be safe.
